Amp Control ("the App") is an iOS remote control application for Arcam hi-fi amplifiers. This Privacy Policy describes how the App handles information. We believe privacy is a fundamental right, and we have designed the App with that principle in mind.

The App does not collect any personal data. Specifically:

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other identifying information. We do not collect device identifiers, IP addresses, or location data. We do not use analytics, crash reporting services, or any third-party SDKs that track usage. We do not have accounts, sign-ups, or user profiles.

3. Local Network Access

The App communicates exclusively with Arcam amplifiers on your local network using the Arcam MusicLife protocol. This communication stays entirely within your local network — no data is sent to external servers, and no data leaves your device or local network.

4. Local Storage

The App stores preferences (such as your chosen accent colour and theme) locally on your device using standard iOS storage mechanisms. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

5. Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any third-party services, advertising networks, or analytics platforms. There are no in-app purchases and no external service dependencies at runtime.

6. Children's Privacy

The App does not collect data from anyone, including children under the age of 13. There is nothing to collect.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this policy, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. We will never start collecting data without clearly communicating this change.
